I think Anger gets a bad rap. Although it can be a very destructive energy, it can also be the most healing. For me, anger has shown me what I am passionate about. Pretty much whatever pisses me off the most, is what I truly care about. And when I'm really mad, anger is telling me (and sometimes it is often in retrospect that I have this awareness) that perhaps I'm revisiting a placed within myself that needs to be healed....the dreaded shadow. Shadows are often difficult to see, even when we're trying to find them. Anger is a "good" way of having our shadows right in our face. Having an awareness of what is transpiring in my moment of "fire" has helped me transform and heal painful wounds, although I think this transformation is ongoing and lifelong.
Yep...just when I think I have dealt with an issue, the memory arises, often unexpectedly, to see if I remember the lesson.
